Wizz wins up to grade 4 at Hare n Hounds.
So that’s a month of hard training and competing over. August started off with a training camp with Lou Raine. Learnt some great new moves to try out over the Winter and gained lots confidence
in handling techniques.
I really enjoyed my judging appointment for Hare and Hounds. I had Large Agility graded 1-7 and Large Jumping graded 4-5. It was great to see all the
fantastic dogs running and thanks to all the handlers who commented on how much they enjoyed running my courses. Put in some of the moves learnt over the last few training camps and managed to get Wizz from grade 3 to 4 after winning both jumping and agility.
Had some more great results from Hare and Hounds, Weardale and KCI including Bailey 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Barack 6th, Nell 6th, Bon Bon 1st and two 3rds and Jet 3rd, 5th and 9th (out of over 100 grade 7 dogs at KCI).
West Lakes brought brilliant sunshine and colossal thunder storms, but such a great venue. Had a very noisy
time with the local rugby players in the club house to drown out the thunder. Got some great results including another 1st for Bon Bon, she’s really improving her
speed lately, and two 2nds with Nell and Bailey.
The last show in August was
Wilton’s Northern Week Champ Show, and what a fab show it was. Lots of great results, the highlights being Jet and Bailey placed 1st and 2nd in grade 7 Agility, and my little star Bon Bon won the championship reserve coming 2nd in the final.
Nearly at the end of the Summer season just a few shows left, Crooked Oak UKA show, Hare n Hounds and A4E. See you all there.
Lucy and the gang 😀
