Nithering November

It is so exciting being a student again, I had forgotten how much I enjoy it. I have had a very busy month working through my KCAI qualification doing lots of scientific research building on my knowledge of behaviour chaining and inadvertent learning.

Really enjoying seeing all my 1 to 1 clients for behavioural issues, obedience and agility training this month. We have had some very successful outcomes and everyone is doing their homework which is great. It is also great to be a member of Sarah Whiteheads Inner Circle specially created for behavioural professionals where I can read up and find out about new ways of thinking that you just don’t get elsewhere. With over 27 years' experience, Sarah is a CCAB (Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist), full member of the APBC (Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors) and member of the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers), ABTC accredited, and recognised as one the UK's most respected behaviourists in her field. I have found there is so much to be discovered, learned and put into practice by joining Sarah as an Inner Circle member.

Nell and Wizz made a guest appearance on Morgans 2016 Calendar to raise money for Morgans rescue to buy a heated puppy pen for over the winter months. We sold quite a few and I understand that they are well on the way to raising the money needed.

Breerock November Show was great fun as usual. Threw quite a few runs working on waits with Wizz and I think he is now beginning to understand that he needs to wait no matter what the venue is. It was Chesters first show running on Veteran. I decided to retire him from full height as he turned nine this year, and it was definitely the right decision. He won three of his classes. So we are stocked up on treats from our winnings for a few weeks.

Had a fab time at Hare n Hounds November Show. Only entered one day but came away with a 4th place for Bailey in grade 7 and a 2nd place for Nell in grade 5.

Have a great Xmas everyone see you all soon.

Lucy and the gang :)
